1 What is the Competition? / General

Eudaemon will administer and operate a game of skill (Competition) in accordance with these terms and conditions.

The Competition is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the winners. The winners will be determined at the sole discretion of a Eudaemon staff member acting as judge (Judge), based entirely on the quality of answers given to the application questions (Entry Questions).

Information on how to enter the Competition, as posted on Eudaemon's website (https://eudaemontech.com), or social media accounts, forms part of these terms and conditions.

By entering the Competition, You agree to be bound by, and are deemed to accept, these terms and conditions. Any entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions is invalid.

You may enter the Competition by making an entry from 12:00am on 24 September 2026 (AEST). Entries close at 11.59 pm on 30 November (AEST), after which no further entries will be accepted.

There will be 6-8 winner(s) selected in the Competition.

If You are chosen as a winner, the prize for the Competition is:

return economy class airfares from the winner's nearest capital city airport in Australia to a destination in the United States of America nominated by Eudaemon (Destination) and at a date and time nominated by Eudaemon; and
accommodation at or near the Destination for the duration of Your attendance, being 5 days (or as determined by Eudaemon in its sole discretion),

for the purpose of You participating in social media content creation, public relations profiling and activities on behalf of Eudaemon. The prize is estimated at a value of AUD $3000 (Prize).

No bonus prizes will be awarded in this Competition.

The total prize pool for the Competition is valued at up to AUD $24000.

The Prize cannot be transferred and cannot be redeemed for cash.

The Prize (including each element of it) must be accepted in the form and at the time offered by Eudaemon and may not be varied by You. If You do not accept the Prize as offered, the Prize will be forfeited and You will not receive any cash payment or substitute prize.

The Prize is subject to any terms, conditions or requirements of the relevant travel, accommodation or other service providers engaged by Eudaemon, which may include (without limitation):

flight and accommodation availability;
travel conditions;
venue entry requirements (including dress codes, behavioural standards and health and safety protocols);
specified travel dates or blackout periods;
fees payable by You for any changes made to travel arrangements after booking; and
a requirement to present a valid credit card at accommodation check-in.

2 Who is eligible?

Entry for the Competition is open to all individuals who meet the following criteria (Eligibility Criteria):

entrants must be Australian citizens aged [18] years and over at the time of entering the Competition;
entrants must have an Australian post address (excluding Australia Post parcel lockers, PO Box, AFPO, PMB or Locked Bags or International addresses);
entrants must complete the entry form in full, providing all required information; and
entrants must not otherwise be ineligible under these terms and conditions.

Eudaemon's employees, Immediate Family of employees, and employees of any other company associated with the Competition are ineligible to enter.

Any other person who assists in determining the winner of the Competition is ineligible to enter.

3 How do You enter the Competition?

The Competition will be advertised on Eudaemon's website (https://eudaemontech.com), and/or the Team Australia website (representaustralia.com.au) and social media pages.

Entry to the Competition is via an online form, which will request certain information from You as well as Your response to the Entry Questions.

Provided You meet the Eligibility Criteria, You must follow the instructions to complete the form in full, including providing all required information, in order to enter the Competition.

You can only submit one entry to the Competition.

There is no entry fee for the Competition.

Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries, or entries which fail to provide the required information (including an answer to the Entry Questions) will be deemed invalid.

Each entry must be the original work of the entrant. Entries must not contain any content that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party or that is otherwise unlawful. By submitting an entry, You warrant that Your entry is Your own original work and does not infringe the rights of any third party.

By entering the Competition, You grant Eudaemon a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, modify and publish Your entry (including Your response to the Entry Questions).

Any tax liability arising from Your participation in the Competition or the receipt or use of the Prize is Your sole responsibility, and You are encouraged to obtain independent financial or tax advice. To the extent that the Competition gives rise to a supply for GST purposes involving non-monetary consideration, the parties agree that, consistent with the Australian Taxation Office's published position, arm's length goods and services are exchanged at equal GST-inclusive market values.

Eudaemon reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which, in the opinion of the Eudaemon, includes inaccuracies, misleading or deceptive representation(s), objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting or defamatory statements.

Eudaemon may disqualify any entrant who:

tampers with the entry process;
submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions; or
has, in the opinion of the Eudaemon, engaged in conduct in entering the Competition which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Competition and/or Eudaemon.

4 How do You win?

The winner will be determined through a two-stage selection process as follows:

Written response - each entrant must submit a response to the Entry Questions. The Judge will assess all responses to the Entry Questions and select a shortlist of entrants based on the creativity, originality, and quality of their responses (each, a Shortlisted Applicant).
Video interview - each Shortlisted Applicant will be required to participate in a video interview at a time and in a format determined by Eudaemon (Video Interview). The Judge will assess each Video Interview and select the winner based on the overall creativity, originality, and suitability of the Shortlisted Applicant's response to the Entry Question and Video Interview (as determined at the sole discretion of the Judge).

The decision of the Judge will be final and binding on every participant who enters the Competition.

The Judge is not required to provide any information or correspondence to any participant who accepts the Offer as to their selection criteria or reasons for their decision. No correspondence will be provided to entrants who are unsuccessful.

Once the Competition is closed, the Judge will make their selection and the winner will be subsequently announced by no later than a month after closing. If You win, You do not need to incur any costs to receive the Prize.

The winner will be notified in writing by email and by phone within [24] hours of determination. Eudaemon may request the winner provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the address nominated on their entry form in order to claim the Prize.

If the winner does not claim or accept the Prize within [14] days of notification (or such other period as Eudaemon may specify), or if the winner is unable to satisfy any requirement of these terms and conditions, the winner's entry will be deemed invalid and Eudaemon reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to withdraw the Prize and organise the Judge to select a replacement winner from the remaining eligible entries. Any replacement winner will be subject to the same notification and claim requirements. If a prize winner cannot be found, that information will be published on Eudaemon's website.

Once Eudaemon makes contact with the winning entrant and confirms their details, the winner's first name initial, last name and postcode will be published on Eudaemon's website and/or social media accounts for a period of 28 days. Please refer to Eudaemon's Privacy Policy regarding the handling of personal information.

If You are a winner, You must, at Your own expense:

hold a valid Australian passport with at least six months validity from the date of travel;
obtain any required visas and travel documentation for entry to the United States of America; and
comply with all applicable travel, health and safety requirements. Failure to satisfy these requirements may result in forfeiture of the Prize.

The Prize is subject to any applicable law or guidelines, including in relation to any travel or government restrictions, pandemic, health advice or similar matters.

You acknowledge and agree that if the Prize is unavailable for any reason, Eudaemon reserves the right to substitute the Prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to the Trade Promotions Laws.

You acknowledge and agree that if You are a winner, You will comply with all reasonable policies, procedures and directions of Eudaemon (including any code of conduct) in connection with Your participation in any promotional activities and Your use of the Prize. Eudaemon reserves the right to withdraw the Prize if, in its reasonable opinion, the winner fails to comply with this requirement.

Any costs, expenses or liabilities incurred by the winner in connection with taking the Prize that are not expressly included in the Prize (including but not limited to travel insurance, meals, transport to and from airports, spending money, and any applicable taxes or government charges) are the winner's sole responsibility. You must make Your own way to and from Your departure point at Your own cost.

5 Privacy

Eudaemon collects personal information about You to enable You to participate in this Competition but no further use of this information will be made without Your prior consent. If You enter this Competition, Your personal information may be disclosed to the relevant government department or otherwise published, as required by the Trade Promotion Laws.

Eudaemon otherwise will handle Your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy available on our website at https://eudaemontech.com.

Please contact Eudaemon if You have any queries or concerns. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Eudaemon contact as set out in section 12.

6 Disputes or complaints

If You have any dispute or complaint relating to the Competition, please contact Eudaemon at our contact details in paragraph 12. Eudaemon will use its reasonable endeavours to respond to You within [seven] business days to discuss a resolution in good faith.

If Eudaemon has not resolved any dispute with You, You and Eudaemon agree to resolve such dispute through binding arbitration in accordance with, and subject to, the Resolution Institute Arbitration Rules, with the arbitrator nominated by the Chair of the Resolution Institute unless agreed otherwise.

You and Eudaemon agree that any dispute must be brought in Your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceedings.

7 Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Eudaemon excludes all guarantees, warranties, conditions or other terms that apply under or are implied by statute, common law or trade custom or usage.

If in the conduct of this Competition Eudaemon is liable for a breach of any guarantee, warranty, condition or other term that applies under the Australian Consumer Law or is implied by any other Commonwealth, state or territory law that cannot be excluded, Eudaemon's liability under that legislation is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to:

if You have won a Prize, the cost of replacement of the Prize won; or
if You have not won a Prize, providing You with an opportunity to participate in another Competition.

To the extent permitted by law, neither Eudaemon nor any of its related companies, associated agencies or any of their respective officers, employees or agents accepts any liability to the Prize winner(s) or anyone else for any loss, damage, injury (including personal injury), expense or claim whatsoever (including without limitation loss of profit, revenue or business and indirect, consequential, special or incidental loss or damage) arising out of or in connection with the Competition or the Prize, including (without limitation) arising from:

any travel or accommodation arrangements;
participation in any promotional activities;
cancellation, delay or disruption of travel; or
any act or omission of any third party service provider (including airlines, accommodation providers and other suppliers).

By participating in Eudaemon's Competitions on social media, You agree to a complete release of [social media platform] by each entrant or participant.

The Competition is not sponsored, endorsed, managed or otherwise associated with any social media platform. Any information You provide in connection with the Competition is provided to Eudaemon, not to any social media platform, and You irrevocably release each such platform from all claims and liability arising from or in connection with the Competition.

If the Competition is unable to proceed as intended due to circumstances beyond Eudaemon's control (including, without limitation, technical failures, system disruptions, unauthorised interference, fraud, government orders, pandemic-related restrictions or public health directives), Eudaemon may, at its discretion, modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition, or disqualify affected entries or entrants, subject to any requirements under applicable Australian law.

8 Disclaimer and Release

By entering the Competition, You release and discharge Eudaemon and its related companies, associated agencies and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of or in connection with the Competition, the Prize or any prize-related activity, including (without limitation) personal injury and damage to property, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Eudaemon and its related companies, associated agencies and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against all claims, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) arising out of or in connection with:

any breach by You of these terms and conditions;
any negligent, fraudulent or unlawful act or omission by You in connection with the Competition or the Prize; or
Your participation in any promotional activities in connection with the Prize.

Eudaemon may require You to execute such waivers, releases or other documentation as Eudaemon considers necessary before You take the Prize. If You decline to execute any such documentation, Your entry will be treated as invalid and You will forfeit any entitlement to the Prize.

Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement.

9 General

If You fail in any material respect to observe the terms or requirements of a supplier of the Prize, Eudaemon or the relevant supplier may cancel or revoke the Prize without incurring any liability to You.

You acknowledge that the Prize may involve activities that carry inherent risks, and You participate in such activities at Your own risk.

Where any element of the Prize involves a physical activity or event, You must satisfy any applicable participation conditions (including health requirements) and must comply with the directions of the activity organisers. It is Your responsibility to ensure that You are in suitable health and physical condition to participate.

Eudaemon's and the Judge's decisions regarding all aspects of the Competition, including the selection of winners, are final and binding. No correspondence or discussion will be entered into in respect of those decisions.

Eudaemon accepts no responsibility for entries, Prize claims or other communications that are lost, delayed, misdirected, damaged, incomplete or illegible, or that fail to be received, for reasons outside Eudaemon's reasonable control.

If, in Eudaemon's reasonable opinion (or that of a medical professional where applicable), You are affected by alcohol or any drug, behave in a manner that is aggressive, offensive, unlawful or otherwise inappropriate, or conduct Yourself in a way that may bring Eudaemon, its related entities or associated companies into disrepute, Eudaemon may in its discretion cancel the Prize or exclude You from any element of the Prize.

Subject to any other provision of these terms and conditions, each Prize (and each element of a Prize) must be accepted at the time and in the manner specified, failing which the Prize will be forfeited without replacement. The Prize values stated in these terms and conditions are current as at the date of publication and are inclusive of GST where applicable. Eudaemon is not liable for any subsequent change in Prize value.

If Eudaemon considers that You or Your entry has materially breached these terms and conditions (including where the Prize must be taken on fixed dates and You are unable to do so), Eudaemon may discard Your entry. Eudaemon may at any time request that You provide such evidence as Eudaemon reasonably requires to verify the validity of Your entry and Your identity (including proof of Your identity, age, residential address and employment).

A failure or delay by Eudaemon in exercising any right under these terms and conditions does not operate as a waiver of that right.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is held to be invalid, void, illegal or unenforceable, the validity, existence, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions will not be affected, prejudiced or impaired.

10 Definitions

Australian Consumer Law means Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as amended or replaced from time to time.

Eudaemon means Eudaemon Technologies Pty Ltd ACN 625 265 401 of 18 Cahill Street, Annandale NSW 2038.

Immediate Family means a person's spouse or former spouse, de facto partner, child (including step-child, whether natural or adopted), parent (including step-parent), grandparent (including step-grandparent), sibling (including step-sibling), or the person's uncle, aunt, niece, nephew or first cousin.

Trade Promotions Laws means the applicable legislation and subsidiary legislation which regulates trade promotions, games of chance and lotteries in each State and Territory of Australia.

You or Your means any person who enters the Competition.

11 Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and courts of appeal from them.

Eudaemon Technologies Pty Ltd ACN 625 265 401 of 18 Cahill Street, Annandale NSW 2038 (Eudaemon) collects, holds, uses and discloses your personal information in accordance with its privacy policy available on Eudaemon's website at eudaemontech.com/privacy.

Eudaemon uses personal information collected from you for the purpose of processing your entry to win return economy class airfares and accommodation in the United States of America in accordance with the Team Australia Competition Terms & Conditions available above (Entry). Eudaemon may also use this information to promote its products and services or to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Eudaemon may disclose (including on the internet) this information to other parties including (but not limited to) advertising and marketing organisations, potential buyers, professional advisors, its foreign and domestic subsidiaries and affiliates, government authorities and any other parties as required by law.

More detail on the reasons why Eudaemon collects personal information and a list of the types of organisations to which Eudaemon may disclose your personal information is available in Eudaemon's privacy policy.

Eudaemon will only disclose personal information in this way to other parties as required to perform its obligations in accordance with the terms of the Entry, to achieve the purposes specified above or as otherwise allowed under the Privacy Act 1988.

Personal information may be disclosed to overseas recipients, including but not limited to Eudaemon and any of its affiliates and subsidiaries. Overseas recipients may be located in (among other areas) the United States and the United Kingdom.

If at any time you wish to opt out of receiving promotional information from Eudaemon, please contact Eudaemon at info@eudaemontech.com or through any opt-out mechanism contained in a promotional communication to you.

If you would like to access your personal information, you can do so by contacting Eudaemon at info@eudaemontech.com. You can also correct or request correction of this information if it is inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date by contacting Eudaemon. More details regarding how you can make these requests are set out in Eudaemon's privacy policy.

If you have any complaints about Eudaemon's handling of your personal information, please refer to the information contained in sections 12 and 13 of Eudaemon's privacy policy.

You are under no obligation to provide your personal information, however, if you do not supply Eudaemon with your personal information, Eudaemon may be unable to proceed with your Entry.
